Cuxhaven is considered the pearl at the mouth of the Elbe and is always worth a visit: the third-largest town on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony is also Germany's largest seaside resort. Thousands of tourists are attracted to the incomparable mix of mudflats, beaches and more every year: For around 198,000 people, “Cuxhoben”, as the town is known in Low German, is their home town. Surrounded by the sea and the district of the same name, Cuxhaven is conveniently located at the crossroads of maritime traffic on the North Sea and Baltic Sea: at the headland, the landmark, the 30-metre-high wooden Kugelbake, a former sea mark at the mouth of the Elbe, marks the transition from the Lower to the Outer Elbe and thus the border for inland shipping.

The Hotel Meeresfriede, which is located directly in the spa town of Duhnen, is a family-run hotel with different room categories, a spacious garden and a generous breakfast buffet.

The main attraction is the sandy beach, which is more than four kilometers long and 50 meters wide - just 200 meters from our door. 

After your coffee in the morning, head straight to the dyke and enjoy the view of the sea. That's as good as it gets!

All prices are per room and day, including VAT, plus accommondation tax and guest contribution. Minimum stay 3 days. One free entry to the Thalasso Center ahoi!, each additional ticket 50% reduced (except arrival and departure day, non-transferable).

Hotel parking fee 3 € per day. No liability is assoumed for parking. Price differences are only due to different size, location and facilities, all other service are the same. Children staying in their parent's room can receive discounts by prior arrangement. There is no entitlement to a refund if a service is not used. Please remember to take out travel cancellation insurance. We will be happy to send you the relevant documents on request.
